The 'Evolution of Red Lipstick' is from the Emmy award winning series of animations called 'Style Origins'. In this video we explore how red lipstick became a symbol of strength throughout history.

The style and design for this animation was heavily influenced by art movements such as suprematism and avante-garde theatre design. This is how we arrived to come up with this style of bold shapes and contrasting lines which promotes the proud, celebratory tone of the piece.
