Grace Fosu and Thelma Hammond were fired from Ghana's National Fire Service for being pregnant, they filed a lawsuit in the country's first gender discrimination court case.
A month after CNN reported on this case both Grace Fosu and Thelma Hammond were reinstated by the fire service.

For this piece the producers only had phone call conversations with the two firefighters and a handful of images to tell their story. When we were approached we had a short period of time to ideate and hand off the animation so as a solution for this we decided to focus on creating a striking design which could be animated in an economical way.
